After graduating from University of Nevada, Reno, Darren joined the Navy where he spent the next 9 years as a U.S. Navy SEAL. Darren had a highly decorated career leading teams during combat operations and later becoming an instructor for basic SEAL training. In December of 05' he left the Navy to join the Hicks Consulting Group team and learn the business from the ground up.

Darren started at Hicks Consulting Group on January 1, 2006 as a recruiter and after a year of learning the business, he took over as the CEO of Hicks Consulting Group.

Darren brings his unique enthusiasm for results, dedication to a team mentality and tested leadership skills to a company with over 28 years of industry success. The result has been higher profit, more clients and a renewed sense of urgency to set “the standard” for IT Staffing firms in the Bay Area.

Darren enjoys his passion for motorcycling and numerous outdoor activities in his free time.
